A personal collection of poetry and prose, in Romanian and English. Built around the rhythm of the page, not the algorithm. The work begins here — it has always begun here.
A volume of poetry in five acts, each one a season, narrated entirely by a cat — the arc of a romantic relationship from arrival to departure, observed from the windowsill.
Verses, atmospheric paragraphs, and an original soundtrack composed for each act. The pages turn with the colors of the year.
I'm Alex-George Adam — a poet and writer, working in Romanian and English, from Bucharest.
Poetry was the first thing I did, and it remains the first thing I do. The page is where the work begins. Te-a iubit, oare, pisica? is my 2026 volume — five acts, five seasons, narrated by a cat. There is an original soundtrack composed for each act. The volume is multimedia by intention, slow by design.
Alongside the writing, I build The Listening Room — a small lab of free social intelligence tools. That work is real and ongoing, and it teaches me things about language that the page alone could not. But the order matters: poet first, builder second.
I work day-to-day in marketing, where I've spent time at Microsoft, IBM, and currently Samsung Romania. The day job and the writing have always run in parallel. I publish notes and essays on Substack (The Social Poet) when something needs a longer breath.
If you came here for the poetry but you're also curious about the work I do with language as data, the other wing of this site is open. A suite of free social & behavioral intelligence tools, in your browser, methodology cited.
