Question the story.

SIGNAL ↔ TRACE / CLICK THE WORD

I study the distance between what people do and what we claim it means. Then I build instruments to make that distance visible.

04 / RESEARCH
FOUR STARTING POINTS / ONE RESEARCH PROGRAMME

The trace is visible.
The truth takes work.

Social and behavioral intelligence begins with a harder question: what else could have produced the same evidence?

03 / Action & individuality

The Individuality Gap ↗

Why observational uniqueness does not establish person-specific structure. Nearly-full uniqueness in a database is compatible with zero real individuality — the percentage is not a weak signal, it is not a signal. Open the three in-browser demonstrations, in English or Romanian.

05 / Trust & authenticity

The Story Comes Cheap ↗

Brand authenticity as a cost inference, not a property consumers detect. If generative AI drives the cost of the carrying signal toward zero, which signals still separate an authentic sender from an inauthentic one? The paper derives that single condition — the signal floor — for identity goods.

Explore the question →
07 / Trust & authenticity

The Liar’s Dividend Without a Liar ↗

Authentic work can carry a provenance penalty with no lie anywhere in the chain. Names the cost — the ambient provenance discount — the asset it depletes, and the only defence that survives: external corroboration, not what the image shows.

08 / Measurement & decisions

The Discount Comes Last ↗

A euro withheld from someone who would have bought anyway is worth roughly ten of new revenue. An operator’s guide that routes promotions on customer and stock state together, and puts price reduction last behind four cheaper levers.

09 / Attribution & silence

When Coordination Becomes Consensus ↗

Follows one question — who is really speaking? — down the length of a listening pipeline. Collection, deduplication, classification, aggregation: each stage quietly discards some of the evidence that would separate coordinated amplification from genuine consensus, until a dashboard reports an agreement the raw trace never established.

What about everyone else?

Hold the observed positive share at 68%. Change the share of the audience that participated.

APPLIED WORK

Culture moves first. The brief follows.

Three campaigns for Samsung Romania, each documented the same way: the tension people already live with, the position taken on it, and the result measured against a campaign that actually ran.

09 / LEARNING
PASSING IT ON

I learned it the expensive way. You do not have to.

Everything I teach here I tested on real budgets first, then built an instrument for, then measured. The campaigns above are where the thinking was proven; the courses are the same thinking, handed over in a form you can use on Monday.

There is a second reason. The instruments on this site are free and they cost money to run. What the courses earn pays for the servers, the data, and the next tool nobody has to pay for. If you buy one, you are funding the free half of this room.

09 / ABOUT

Alex-George
Adam.

Researcher & Social and Behavioral Strategist.
Based in Bucharest, Romania.

I work where online language becomes behavioral evidence: audience intelligence, social listening, digital measurement and cultural strategy.

The Listening Room brings that practice together. The Coordination–Consensus Continuum asks what we can identify. Echo makes selected questions explorable. Data journalism follows their consequences into public life.

I build ways to see more clearly—and to know when the evidence runs out.
